From top; Backlit yellow Daffodil, herbaceous Peony (2), Prairie Mallow, Chive blossoms (2), Daylilies after rain
In addition to the Crocus, Daffodil and Jonquil that I've posted recently, I offer here more of the flowers that grew in our old garden on the pond. I took these pictures over a five-year period. Each flower has a story to tell; each could, in fact, justify a project of its own.
I thought of doing such projects, but decided against it, feeling that I’m now ready to move on from my "archive phase," and return to my first love, exploring new ideas, photographically. My thanks to everyone who responded with enthusiasm to the old photos. From time to time, I’ll try to dig out and publish a few more.
