Anticipating its wider use in the warm weather, I took my zoom lens into the café, as an experiment. By its very nature, a zoom lens doesn't capture as much light as an ordinary, fixed lens. So, I usually reserve it for outdoors. However, it did fairly well inside the brightly lit café, although it didn’t deliver quite as much highlight detail as I've come to expect in those conditions.
