This is my sixth photo exploration of Moody Street, the main shopping area of Waltham. In the age of coronavirus, a sadness hangs over the street—known for its diversity and its restaurants—but also a resolve, and a hope that good times will come once again.
By city decree, everyone must now wear a mask in Waltham, in public spaces both indoors and out. Soon that rule will be applied statewide. While I was shooting, there was a steady breeze, typical for this time of year. At all times, I maintained a good social distance. If some shots look as if I were too close to my human subjects, that’s only because the images have been cropped.
