Waltham Boys & Girls Club hosted its second annual Juneteenth event on June 19th, on Waltham Common, attended by Congresswoman Katherine Clark (MA-5). This year was special, of course, because the day had just been designated a national holiday. I was unaware of the local event, and happened to drive by. Unfortunately, I arrived just at closing time, but everyone was in high spirits and allowed me to get in a few good shots. The photos are displayed in the order taken.
