Here in the city, I don’t have Alpine scenes to photograph, nor do I have—any longer—the various community activities that were once a highlight of city life, and that have now been curtailed for Covis control. But there’s still Moody Street. The numbers and diversity of people drawn to the street have only grown with its closure to vehicular traffic. These visitors are endlessly fascinating for me, and a limitless source of subjects for candid photography.
