This series was first published on Bēhance in March 2021.
I had to go back a few years, before COVID, to assemble this collection in recognition of International Women’s Day 2021. Many of these informal portraits were taken at events such as farmers’ markets or steampunk festivals where visitors were in a celebratory mood, and would gladly pose for an unknown photographer. All but one were shot in Waltham or nearby towns. They are displayed in the order taken, with the earliest first.
