It was a brisk, bright, lavishly sun-swept Saturday—a beautiful day as befits the last Farmers’ Market of the season. The Market was jammed with people eagerly snapping up offerings they won't see again until next June. In the meantime, this snap shooter will have to find another (no doubt less convenient) venue for his picture-taking.
The last image is bittersweet. The little girl, momentarily separated from her parents’ world, is left in her own world to dream of fairy stories. I feel it’s one of the best street photos I’ve taken, in no small part because it conveys an air of "expectancy," asking the question, "What’s to come?"
