The Waltham Farmers’ Market is held on Saturdays in-season. Shoppers come early hoping to buy corn-on-the-cob or other popular items before they run out. We arrived at noon this fine Saturday; by then the crowds had already thinned out, and with them many photo-ops as well.
The dog, in case you’re wondering, carries shopping bags in those pouches; he likes to feel useful, his owner told me. About 75% of adults in Massachusetts have been fully vaccinated. That has allowed our governor to lift the various Covid restrictions, including masks—at least for now.
