A hot spell broke recently, so I took advantage of the cooler temperatures to park myself on a bench on Moody Street—now closed to vehicular traffic—and photograph people passing by. Some chose to ignore me, others good-naturedly posed for me, while a few signaled opposition to having their pictures taken (which, of course, I honored). The result has a bit of a rogue’s galley quality, I’m afraid. That's almost certainly due to my lazy approach that fine day to an art form—street photography—that demands full engagement by its practitioners.
