As an antidote to the gray day, I decided to photograph the Waltham Farmers’ Market in color, this time, instead of my usual black-and-white. Having made that weighty decision, I then asked myself, how much is enough? That is a question that’s been on my mind lately. What is my goal, after all? Is it to record in minute detail every aspect of the scene before me? Or is it enough to take a few artful shots that convey the flavor of the place. "Have mercy on the viewers," I heard a tiny voice reply. My decision was made.
