Gustazo Cuban Cafe is a popular local eatery that has received numerous awards over the years. No sooner had it moved to a spacious new location on Moody Street than the pandemic hit. Fortunately, it has a large outdoor patio on which to serve patrons, at least during the warm weather. The last frame shows the colorful new bar inside, with the stools removed to comply with state regulations.
On the first cool day in August a friend and I decided to have lunch on the patio. While waiting for our orders to arrive, I took a few discreet photos, hoping to convey some impressions of the place. Happily, the tables were spaced well apart—a bit more, I believe, than required by regulations. To top it off, the hostess took our temperatures before seating us.
