Top Photo: This little girl momentarily found herself the center of attention on Election Day. Her mother, along with several others, was selling homemade pastries outside a polling place to raise money for the local Parent-Teachers Association. During a pause in activity, the focus fell on this little girl. With her fancy dress, and self-conscious manner, she gave us an endearing moment to save and savor.
Bottom Photo: It’s hard to read the expression on the face of this little girl—a certain wariness, perhaps—but those beautiful eyes made a lasting impression on me. I had literally two or three seconds to record them before she turned away.
