Returning to tradition, Waltham celebrated the 135th anniversary of its incorporation as a city by a joyful and colorful parade. Presented here are some highlights, among them floats from local schools and organizations. The best for me were the clowns, who couldn’t resist posing for a photographer. I took these photos as a freelance assignment for the local newspaper. The images are a little brighter than usual to accommodate the needs of the print medium.
