Rockport is a popular vacation spot 40 miles northeast of Boston, known for its artists’ colony. The main attraction is an old, red, fishing shack in the inner harbor dubbed Motif Number 1, and made famous by countless artists over the years. This photo series is not about Rockport, the town, but about the wharves overlooking the inner and outer harbors. They, alone, were enough to fill a few hours for two visitors until it was time to go home.
