This is my fifth photo exploration of Moody Street, the main shopping area of Waltham. At first glance, the street seems ordinary, like any small-town main street. With a little photographic probing, however, the variety and richness of its life quickly emerges. Not only the passersby, but the shops—both their windows and interiors—paint a nuanced portrait of a highly diverse city.
All the photos were taken with an iPhone 11 (a gift from my brother) and edited with Lightroom mobile. I was pleasantly surprised at the resulting image quality. The iPhone calls less attention to itself, and opens the door to candid shots not possible with a conventional camera.
