This is the fifth installment, this season, in my saga of the Waltham Farmers’ Market. The weekly event holds no end of fascination for me. On each visit, I’ve pursued a different angle, photographically speaking. This time, I wanted to explore human nature in all its individuality and quirkiness.
The first photos are double exposures, meant to suggest the bustling activity of the market. As the day wore on, the gray sky gave way to a pale sun which brightened the colors and put highlights on the tomatoes.
