At its busiest, the farmers’ market can become a swirling mass of humanity that requires quick, almost reflexive shooting. Still, I try to capture shoppers engaged in shopping-related activities—not just walking or milling about—to provide context for the photos. Shooting close up, however, does not make this any easier to achieve.
