No one has come up with a zippered face covering—yet—so outdoor diners have to remove their masks to eat. All the tables that I saw while taking these photos seemed well spaced apart, but diners sharing a table were closer than the recommended six feet. However, Massachusetts has entered this phase of reopening on the strength of its low community transmission rates. A brisk, steady breeze when I took these photos may have further mitigated any risk.
