I used a new, exotic lens this day, producing images that were slightly more delicate than usual. They were also fussier to edit. What goes through the heads of café-goers? Why aren’t there more smiles, even laughter among them? Perhaps they’re simply giving their neural networks a rest during a break in a busy day. That may explain why they seem preoccupied, even "intense," as some viewers put it.
