These are AI-assisted images. Nothing was added that was not recorded by the camera. Rather, tonal values produced by the firmware in the camera were adjusted to add impact. Specifically, backgrounds were darkened and subjects brightened. An inherent graininess, and some facial defects, were banished by AI-assisted tools. As to lighting, it was single-source from the café's overhead lamps, aided by low-level ambient light. All images were candid, and anonymously recorded.
